Part-exhibition, part-installation: a tapestry of music, film, dance and photography by Manchester Collective.

A film directed by Photographer Simon Buckley and featuring dancer Blackhaine.
Following the journey of the river Irwell through the streets of Manchester and into Salford.
Shot at night over 3 nights and under local lockdown conditions. This exciting project brought unique challenges to produce. I took on the role of producer and production manager for the film shoot and subsequent installation.
I compiled shot lists, agreed permissions for on-location shooting, created the shooting schedule, looked after cast and crew welfare, health and safety, kit production requirements and literally called the shots on the day.
An Exhibition and Installation at The White Hotel
Once the film was complete, I continued to work with Manchester Collective to develop the project into a photography, film and music installation at ex MOT garage, The White Hotel.
As producer and production manager I planned the printing and hanging of the photography, oversaw the rig and de-rig, technical production, crew bookings, signage and also engaged front of house staff and managed their training and rota.
